What's a max bid?

An 1939 AH Gaudiplems Award; William Jäger - White porcelain, obverse with the left-facing bust of Adolf Hitler and inscribed "Adolf Hitler" in Gothic script below, with a wide border on all four sides, all in high relief, reverse stamped in green ink "Zur Erinnerung an die Verleihung des Gaudiplems / 1. Mai 1939 / Wilhelm Jäger" (To Commemorate the Award of Gaudiplems / May 1, 1939 / William Jäger) at the lower left, along with a crown over the "Jäger" maker mark script at the lower right, a void for the bust of Hitler, an indented area at the top with two holes for a wall hanging hook, 98.3 mm x 135 mm, extremely fine.
