A pair of 1957 issue campaign shields, including a Kuban Shield, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a stylized map of the Kuban region, topped by a date of “1943”, the reverse with all three attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 42.82 mm (w) x 55.50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Demjansk Shield, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing raised crossed swords on top of a plane, above a date of “1942”, topped by an inscription of “DEMJANSK”, the reverse with all three attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 52.62 mm (w) x 75.00 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
