A 1937 to 1942 pattern tunic constructed of Police-green wool, featuring a vertical column of five silver pebbled buttons, reverse presents maker mark for C.TH.DICKE, meeting an equal number of reinforced button holes, with dual metal hooks and clasps positioned at the forward neckline, with two diagonally angled slash hip pockets with rectangular flaps, with a lay down forest-green collar bearing collar tabs, each constructed of forest-green cloth, bearing a single silver pebbled button, bordered by rose red rayon piping, the shoulders bear slip-on shoulder boards, each constructed of inner green Russian braid surrounded by bright gilded wire Russian braids with evenly spaced interwoven green Vs, bearing a single gilded rank pip, mounted on rose red wool base, measuring 34 mm (w) x 103 mm (l), the interior is lined with a dark brown rayon liner, transitioning into a pinstripe design through the arms, with a right interior breast pocket opening with a reinforced horizontal slit, the tunic measures 42 cm across the shoulders, 55.4 cm in the sleeves, each presenting a 12 cm cuff trimmed in forest green, and a total length of 78.2 cm, and in overall extremely fine condition.
