Germany, Luftwaffe. An Aviator/Parachute Troops Combat Field Blouse

(Feldbluse). A reed green, cotton/rayon blend field blouse, featuring a Herringbone Twill weave, presenting single-breasted with six buttons for front closure, with a single metal hook and clasp positioned at the forward neckline, with a lay-down collar, with zig-zag reinforcement stitching to the reverse, the blouse presents two pleated patch breast pockets, with straight-edged button-down flaps, and two hip, saddle-bag type pockets also with straight-edged button-down flaps, the right breast presents a machine-embroidered Luftwaffe breast eagle in silver-grey rayon threads, over a reed green cotton base, measuring 95 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), stitched to the blouse in a zig-zag pattern, the left breast presents a ribbon bar bearing ribbons for a 1939 Iron Cross, II Class, and an Eastern Front Medal, measuring 30 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), the side panels presents three, vertically aligned stitched eyelets on either side of the waistline for the belt support hooks, the reverse of the blouse presents a central, vertical, tail skirt measuring 225 mm in length, the blouse presents straight-cut sleeves with dual-ply, hemmed cuffs, bearing vertical slashes to the outside seams with dual fit adjustment buttons on each, the left upper sleeve bears a Gefreiter rank chevron constructed of a single, machine-woven silver-grey rayon chevron stitched to an inverted triangular reed green rayon base with a Herringbone Twill weave, measuring 85 mm (w) x 79 mm (h), each shoulder bears an EM/NCO slip-on shoulder strap in reed green rayon with Herringbone Twill weave, piped with golden-yellow for Aviator and Parachute Troops, each measuring 44 mm (w) x 104 mm (l), the interior of the blouse is partially lined in grey rayon, specifically at the shoulder seams, around the arm openings, and down the side panels, the lining features a vertical grey rayon strap with four, stitched eyelets on each side of the waistline for the belt support hooks, the forward right interior has a field dressing pocket with a single button, the left interior breast presents size markings in black ink stating 40 46 98 70 61 M43, the field blouse measures approximately 38 cm across the shoulders, 60 cm length in the sleeves, and a total of 66.5 cm in total length, presenting mild soiling near collar and on reverse, and in overall extremely fine condition.
