Constructed of silver, the obverse with leftward-facing profiles of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia and Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a raised depiction of Russian and Prussian soldiers shaking hands in an encampment, circumscribed by an inscription of “CASTRA CALISIENSIA RUSSO-BORUSSICA” (“BATTLE OF KALIZS RUSSIA-PRUSSIA”), the reverse with a maker’s mark of “G. LOOS”, measuring 33.84 mm in diameter, weighing 14.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
