Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

Payment methods include; Cheque, Wire Transfer, Paypal, or Credit Card.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Prussia, Kingdom. A Franco-Prussian War Commemorative Medal of 1870-7, (Preussen. Kriegsdenkmünze für die Feldzüge 1870–71). Instituted 20 May 1871. A circular gilt bronze medal, the obverse centre bearing a crowned cipher “W” (for King Wilhelm) above the inscription “Dem siegreichen Heere” (The victorious Army), circumscribed with “Gott war mit uns Ihm sei die Ehre” (God was with us To Him the Glory), the reverse bears an Iron cross (cross paty) with rays between the arms, inscribed with “1870 1871” within a laurel wreath, the edge is inscribed with “AUS EROBERTEM GESCHUETZ” (FROM CAPTURED CANNON), measuring 28.98 mm (w) x 34.20 mm (h), with suspension loop on a white, black and red striped ribbon, very fine; Prussia, Kingdom. Reserve Army Faithful Services Award, II Class, A circular medal constructed of bronze gilt, the obverse centre bearing a crown circumscribed with “Treue Dienste Reserve Landwehr” (Loyal Services Reserve Army), the reverse centre bears the inscription “Landwehr-Dienstaus-zeichnung II Klasse” (Landwehr service award II Class), measuring 25.03 mm (w) x 29.45 mm (h), with suspension ring on solid blue ribbon, very fine; Prussia, Kingdom. A Koniggratz Commemorative Cross, I Type. (Preussen, Erinnerungskreuz Königgrätz). Instituted 20 September 1866 by King Wilhelm I of Prussia. A Rupert cross paty, a laurel wreath lays between the arms, the obverse centre bears the cipher WR (Wilhelm Rex (King)) circumscribed with “PREUSSENS SIEGREICHEN HEERE” (PRUSSIA’S VICTORIOUS WARRIORS), the 12 o’clock arm bears a crown and the 9, 3 and 6 o ‘clock arms bear the inscription “GOTT WAR MIT UNS IHM SEI DIE EHRE” (GOD WAS WITH US, TO HIM BE THE GLORY), the reverse centre bears a crowned Prussia eagle perched on top of an Austrian cannon, the 12 o’clock arms bears the inscription “KONIG-GRATZ”, the 9 o’clock arm bears “DEN 3”, the 3 o’clock arm bears “JULI” and the 6 o’clock arm bears “1866”, measuring 35. 76 mm (w) x 42.47 mm (h), with suspension ring on a black ribbon with white and yellow stripes, very fine; Prussia. A 25-Year Long Service Cross for Officers, c.1840, (Preussen. Dienstauszeichnung für Offiziere für 25 Dienstjahre). Issued 1825-1920. A straight-armed cross paty constructed of bronze gilt, pebbled arms with smooth borders, the obverse centre bears the crowned cipher “FW III” (for King Friedrich Wilhelm III), the reverse centre bears “XXV” (25 - for 25 years of service), measuring 40.15 mm (w) x 43.80 mm (h), weighing 19.7 g, very fine.
