An extensive First and Second War period medal bar featuring eight decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross Second Class, constructed of blackened magnetic iron within a ribbed silver frame, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, presenting as a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central raised “W”, with a Prussian royal crown on the upper arm and a reinstitution date of “1914” on the lower arm, the reverse central oak leaves, with a Prussian royal crown on the upper arm and an initial institution date of “1813” on the lower arm, unmarked, measuring 42.97 mm (w) x 44.64 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross Second Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Merit Cross for War Aid, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, presenting as a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates of “1914-1918” within an oak leaf wreath, the reverse maker marked “G. & S.”, measuring 33 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Bavarian Ludwig Cross, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Baden War Merit Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a Landwehr Service Award Second Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 25 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a 25-Year Civil Faithful Service Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux black leather exterior, with maroon satin-type interior lid liner with gold embossed inscription of “Waarenhaus für Armee & Marine”, with an intact hinge cover and purple felt medal bed, with functional dual exterior bronze clips and a functional hinge, measuring 238 mm (w) x 95 mm (l) x 28 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
