What's a max bid?

A 1914-1918 Lippe War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienst Kreuz); on gilt bronze; the obverse bears a centrally placed laurel wreath encircling the Rose of Lippe, topped with a crowned cipher of Prince Leopold IV, with the lower armed bearing “1914”; the reverse inscribed “For Distinction During Wartime” across all arms; horizontally-pierced ball and loop for suspension; on correct replacement ribbon; some contact marks, but otherwise very fine condition.
