What's a max bid?

(Pickelhaube). This helmet is constructed from polished black leather, re-finished, with mild crazing throughout, the exterior stitching remaining intact, it has solid polished metal fittings, which includes the fluted spike (with six ventilation holes and an ornate design at the base), on a cruciform base, with rear spine, front visor trim and chin strap (multi-scaled with sliding lock), the helmet plate is in gilt featuring the Crowned Royal Arms of Bavaria supported by two crowned lions rampant regardant with forked tails, below which is the motto IN TREUE FEST in Gothic lettering on a three scrolled curing ribbon, without the National Cockade and without the blue and silver Bavarian Cockade, the underside of the visor is unlined, while the underside of the neck guard is lined in red, the inside is lined in light-brown leather, with a retractable two-piece synthetic liner with wire supports in the dome, it measures 17 cm (w) x 25.5 cm (l) x 23 cm (h), and in very fine condition.
