(Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen Fahne). A well-preserved NSRL standard flag constructed of a light red cotton-blended twill base, with each side overlaid by a white cotton twill disc which extends in a band to both the top and bottom edges, each in turn bearing black cotton NSRL-style German national eagles overlaid by white mobile swastikas, with the feathering and features highlighted in white cotton threading, the upper corners of both hoist edges bear black rayon blended rectangular patches bordered in twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire trimming, measuring 285 mm (w) x 195 mm (h), each patch is hand-embroidered with a white inscription of “GAU XI SCHÜTZENGESELLSCHAFT KOFFEREN”, securely stitched onto the hoist edge are seven suspension loops of identical red cotton-blended twill construction, with a functional magnetic metal spring clip affixed to the flag above the top loop, the flag is unmarked and measures 127 cm (w) x 117 cm (h) overall, sporadic patches of material fatigue and soiling are evident, in an overall better than very fine condition.
