Germany, NSBO. An Alexanderwerk Remscheid Standard Flag
(Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation Fahne). A well-preserved NSBO standard flag, constructed of a red cotton twill base, with three edges trimmed with silver aluminum wire tresses bearing an array of twisted and rolled tassels of identical constructions, each side bears a white cotton disc overlaid by black mobile swastikas constructed of rayon, stitched onto the upper corner of each hoist edge is a rectangular black rayon patch trimmed with gold bullion wire, bearing a central NSBO insignia of identical construction, flanked by hand-embroidered initials “N.S.B.O.”, above hand-embroidered inscription of “BETRIEBSZELLE: ALEXANDERWERK REMSCHEID”, stitched onto the hoist edge are seven suspension loops constructed of a non-magnetic metal alloy, with a functional non-magnetic metal spring clip affixed to the flag above the upper suspension loop, unmarked, measuring 135 cm (w) x 117 mm (h), two large holes are evident to the base material, with sporadic smaller holes and material fatigue apparent, as well as some soiling, in overall very fine condition.
