(Jungmädel/Bund Deutscher Mädel Wimpel). A very well-preserved League of German Girls (JM/BDM) group pennant, constructed of a heavy black cotton twill base, each side featuring a machine-embroidered multi-coloured HJ/BDM insignia measuring 195 mm (m) x 320 mm (h), both sides also feature hand-embroidered numbers of “24” and “59” for Jungmädelgruppe 24/Untergau 59 near the upper corner of the hoist edge, the hoist edge also bears three intact and functional magnetic metal spring clips for attachment, measuring 910 mm (w) x 540 mm (h) overall, a small hole is visible to the lower portion of the pennant which has been repaired with hand-stitched black threading, in addition to some soiling evident to the insignia on both the obverse and reverse, in overall near extremely fine condition.
