Germany, Imperial. A Württemberg Veteran’s Association Badge by W. Mayer and F. Wilhelm, (Kriegerbund Abzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, the obverse bears a central shield topped with a crown, superimposed over flagstaffs, rifles and swords, the bottom is inscribed “WURTTERMB KRIEGERBUND”, the reverse maker marked “W. Mayer & F. Wilhelm, Stuttgart”, measuring 43.69 mm (w) x 54.79 mm (h); A Bavarian Patriotic Badge, constructed of zinc, the obverse bears a lion holding a shield with the Bavarian flag, encompassed by a border reading “MILITÄR u. KAMPFGENOSSENVEREIN GESLAU u UMGEB”, the reverse is plain and bears a soldered horizontal pinback, measuring 34.29 mm (w) x 40.59 mm (h); A German Patriotic Pin, constructed of silver and enamel, the obverse bears a black enamel circular base with a red and black enamel shield in the centre with lion and double-headed eagle detailing, th top bears an arabesque detail, the reverse is plain, marked “800 RE” and bears a horizontal pinback, measuring 24.64 mm (w) x 31.20 mm (h), all fine.
