(Verdienstmedaille). A pair of Imperial merit medals, including a Prussian Medal for Rescue from Danger, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Prussian eagle, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR” (“FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER”), unmarked, measuring 24.34 mm in diameter, weighing 9.8 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Bavarian 1866 Campaign Cross, constructed of bronze, consisting of a Ruppert Cross with ribbed arms, the obverse with a central wreathed Bavarian lion rampant, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1866”, unmarked, measuring 36.68 mm (w) x 41.14 mm (h), weighing 15.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
