Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Postwar Signed Knight’s Cross Recipient Photos

A mixed service branch lot of three postwar signed Knight’s Cross recipient photos, including one depicting SS-Obersturmführer Johnn Sailer, an unofficial recipient who claimed the award on 4 May 1945, in uniform and with the decoration inserted into the image, overlaid by Sailer’s handwritten signature in black ink, measuring 82 mm (w) x 122 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting Heer Oberleutnant (later Major) Johann Spielmann, in uniform and with the Knight’s Cross (awarded on 27 March 1942) and an array of decorations clearly visible, with the Oak Leaves (awarded on 28 March 1945) not depicted, the reverse pasted with a label bearing Spielmann’s handwritten signature in blue ink, measuring 88 mm (w) x 129 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one depicting Luftwaffe Hauptmann (later Oberstleutnant) Dieter Hrabak, in a flight jacket and with the Knight’s Cross (awarded on 21 October 1940) clearly visible, with the Oak Leaves (awarded on 25 November 1943) not depicted, the lower border overlaid by Hrabak’s handwritten signature in black ink, measuring 102 mm (w) x 154 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
