Large right-facing spread-winged eagle insignia at the top, clenching a gear displaying the Hitler Youth insignia in its talons, the text in Gothic lettering. Helmet Biermann received this award for his achievements in the liberal profession trades competition at the Trades Competition in Berlin in 1939. The document has the signatures of DAF Leader Dr. Robert Ley and Hitler Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach at the bottom. Printed in black and red inks on a cream coloured paper stock, the name "Helmet Biermann" in black typewriter face, 212 mm x 297 mm, lightly soiled, near extremely fine.
