A Wehrpaß named to Christian Vögele, a combat veteran with both First and Second World war service, constructed of a field-grey card stock binding with 54 paginated interior pages, issued on 25 May 1937, retaining a black-and-white photo of Vögele, who was born on 8 June 1896 in Magstadt, Württemberg, who initially served with Infanterie-Regiment 126 on the Western Front from 28 September 1915 until 21 December 1918, winning the Iron Cross II Class, registering for renewed service on 1 March 1937, called up to active service on 26 August 1939 with Landes-Schützen-Kompanie, Bataillon 406, and later to Landes-Schützen-Bataillon 847 on 9 February 1942, awarded the War Merit Cross II Class, accompanied by a Gesundheitsbuch (Health Book), with extensive paperwork indicating that Vögele suffered from a persistent lung disease and was recommended for duty in clean-air environments, in overall near extremely fine condition.
2. A Soldbuch named to Michael Gsottberger, constructed of a replacement paper stock binding with 18 paginated interior pages full of handwritten entries, indicating that Gsottberger was born on 2 September 1883 in Passau and entered military service on 25 October 1904 with 9. Kompamie, 16. Infanterie-Regiment, later serving through the First World War with 18. Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment 18 where he saw combat on the Eastern front, on the Western Front (notably at the Battle of the Somme), and in Romania, measuring 90 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), with material fatigue evident, in very fine condition; a Wehrpaß, constructed of a field-grey card stock binding with 54 paginated interior pages, issued at Passau on 15 May 1942, without recorded combat service, accompanied by a Gesundheitsbuch (Health Book), indicating that Gsottberger’s physical fitness was impeded by a persistent elbow inflammation, in overall near extremely fine condition.
