What's a max bid?

A Soldbuch to the 3rd Panzer Jäger Battalion; Wounded - Documents of Arthur Zimmerman: Soldbuch, 24 pages, slightly worn condition; Arbeitsbuch, 32 pages, very fine.   Zimmerman was a Private of Infantry Panzer Jäger Reserve Company 218. He was born on December 23rd, 1913 in Berlin. He stood at 169 cm tall, was blond and beardless. He was issued his Soldbuch at the Berlin-Spandau command office on March 26th, 1943. He has entries with Panzer Jäger Battalions 3 and 218. He has four entries from Field Hospitals, one of which was for a grenade wound to the leg and chest. He was awarded the Wound Badge in Black and in Silver. Also pasted into the back of his Soldbuch is an additional page to keep track of days engaged in close combat, intended for the bestowal of a Close Combat Clasp; he only had 5 days completed of the requisite 15 to earn the clasp in bronze.
