Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A Luftwaffe Panzer Identification Manual with 3D Glasses

A Luftwaffe Panzer Identification Manual with 3D Glasses; Book is entitled "Panzererkennung aus der Luft" (Panzer Detection from the Air), with the notations "D. (Luft) 1220/1" and "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch I" (Only for Internal Use I) above and "Teil 1: / Feindliche Panzerfahrzeuge / (Stand Juni 1944) / Ausgabe Juli 1944" (Part 1: Enemy Tanks Trucks / (June 1944) / July 1944 Edition) below on the front cover. The inside front cover is marked "Dies ist ein geheimer Gegenstand. Missbrauch ist strafbar." (This is a Secret Object. Abuse is a Criminal Offence.) facing the "Inhalt" (Contents) pages. The book contains pages illustrating twenty-nine vehicles from Great Britain, the Soviet Union and the United States for Luftwaffepilots to identify on their reconnaissance and bombing missions. Sixteen of the most popular vehicles have an additional page of statistics and black and white reproducible reconnaissance photos, along with a page that illustrates front, back and side views of the vehicle above an aerial view of the featured vehicle printed in black, with the red and blue overprints slightly offset to either side. When this three-colour image is viewed with the accompanying 3-D glasses, it brings the depth and detail of the vehicle to life, enabling the pilot to easily identify his target. The full list of twenty-nine vehicles includes: Leichter Pz. Kpfw. MK VII "Tetrarch" (8 Ton - English), Leichter Pz. Ppfw. M5 "Commando" (15 Ton - American), Mittierer Pz. Kpfw. T34 (26 Ton - Soviet Russian), Mittierer Pz. Kpfw. T34 (30 Ton - Soviet Russian), Mittierer Pz. Kpfw. T34-85 (r) (30 Ton - Soviet Russian), Inf. Pz. Lpfw. M4 "General Sherman" (25 Ton - American), 15,5 cm Kanone (Sf.) M12 "Long Tom" auf Fahrgestell Inf. Pz. Kpfw. M4 "General Sherman" (26 Ton - American), Leichter Panzerspahwagen Scout Car, Daimler I, II, Ford I, Humber I (3 Ton - English), Leichter Panzerspahwagen "Humbererette" (4 Ton - English), Leichter Panzerspahwagen "Humbererette" (7 Ton - English), Leichter Panzerspahwagen "Daimler" (7.7 Ton - English), Schwerer Panzerspahwagen A.E.C. (12 Ton - English), Leichter Panzerspahwagen "Scout Car" M3 A1 (4.5 Ton - American), Gepanzerte Mahrzwecke-Halbekettenfahrzeuge "Half Track" (6 to 7.4 Tons, American), Land-Wasserfahrzeug "Alligator" (4 Ton - American) and Gepanzerte MG. Trager "Bren" ("Scout Carrier") (4 Tons - English). At the back of the book are eight inserted pages: four additional small inserts with twenty-two simplified schematics in black, along with four additional small inserts with sixteen images printed in black, with the red and blue overprints slightly offset to either side, as per the larger featured vehicles, for 3-D viewing. These "portable" versions were often taken out of the book and placed on the dash of the plane for quick viewing, rather than having to flip through the book itself, saving time and were just as effective. The book measures 235 mm x 305 mm, dual aluminum tab bound, exhibiting edge wear and tape repair, along with soling on the cover, but the interior pages remain unaffected. Accompanying the book are two pairs of 3-D glasses, which have red and blue filters, allowing the holder to view the images in the book in three-dimensions, the images printed in black, with the red and blue overprints slightly offset to either side, the frame of each pair stamped in black ink "Hansa Luftbild / G.m.b.H. / Berlin SW 29 / Flugplatz" with an "S", an asterisk and a uprising bird insignia, measuring 45 mm x 140 mm each, tears in both between the die holes and outer edges, but the filters remain unaffected. Very fine.
