(1. Luftwaffe-Feld-Division Beförderungs-Glückwunschdokument). Constructed of off-white paper stock, folded into a booklet, the cover bearing a handwritten dedication of “DEM KOMMANDEUR DER 1. LW. FELDDIVISION” (“TO THE COMMANDER OF THE 1S LUFTWAFFE FIELD DIVISION”) in Fraktur script, topped by a hand-drawn and multi-coloured depiction of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, opening to reveal a hand-drawn divisional emblem on the interior of the cover, with the opposite page bearing an additional handwritten dedication of “HERZLICHEN GLÜCKWUNSCH ZUR BEFÖRDERUNG, OFFIZIERE, UNTEROFFIZIERE, U. MANNSCHAFTEN DER SAN. KOMP. (1. MOT.) 1. LW. FELDD.” (“HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PROMOTION, THE OFFICERS, NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS, AND ENLISTED MEN OF THE SAN. KOMP. (1.MOT.) 1. LW. Footnote: Although undated, the command history of the 1st Luftwaffe Field Division reveals that the document was dedicated to either Generalleutnant Gustav Wilke, Generalmajor Werner Zech, or Generalmajor Rudolf Petrauschke.
