(Reichsarbeitsdienst): In mold injected aluminum having been painted field green, maker marked with the Julius Maurer, Oberstein insignia on the reverse, measuring 48.5 mm x 64.3 mm, with minor wear, extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 324 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
