What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A German Red Front Fighter's League Veteran's Belt Buckle; Published Example

(Kampfbund Rotfront) In stamped brass with face plate affixed by two rivets, unmarked reverse, measuring 47.3 mm x 62 mm, lightly worn, better than very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 393 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
