In silvered steel, measuring 48.3 mm x 65 mm, marked RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/4" (Gustav Emil Ficker, Beierfeld) on reverse, with paper tag printed in red ink and stapled to the belt loop, marked with partial RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) insignias, inscribed "Koppelschloss Nach Vorschrift der RJF", "Hersteller" (Manufacturer), number stamped in black ink "479496" and marked "L", mint. A similar buckle is illustrated on page 271 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
