Germany. A Lower Saxony State Forestry Service Official’s Belt and Buckle
(Niedersachsen) State Forestry Service Official’s belt and buckle; the buckle constructed of silvered bronze, illustrating a horse on a pebbled raised central field, surrounded by a laurel wreath, with a mobile swastika superimposed on the bottom on-top of ribbons; the reverse with a catch and matching hardware for attachment to the belt; measuring 48 mm in diameter; the belt constructed of a dark leather upper, and a green felt underside, except under the tab at the left end where the raw underside is exposed; belt passes through the loop of the buckle and fishes on the back, being held in place by two snap closures; smooth light brown finished leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the left end, the tab with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment and stamped "100” in black ink; measuring 1056 mm (w) x 44 mm (h); light mothing on the reverse, but in overall very fine condition.
