Two-prong open-claw buckle in silvered nickel with a pebbled upper on the right end, marked "D.R.G.M." (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) and numbered "1240881" on the reverse, the buckle measuring 45.3 mm x 60.5 mm. Belt is fabricated from a very thick leather with a smooth finished forest green upper, emerald green felt glued in place on the underside, seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment on the left end, each hole with forest green painted metal eyelets, the belt with one slider and measuring 43 mm x 1,380 mm. The felt reverse with scattered wear patches evident throughout, exposing the belt's underside in many places, the most extensive loss appearing at the left end, the upper with very light crazing, the silvering on the buckle remaining intact. Better than very fine.
