What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Second Pattern RLB Officer’s Brocade Dress Belt and Buckle; Published Example

Belt is fabricated from a finely ribbed aluminum, 45mm wide, centering 15mm wide black stripe; with two sliders that have matching pattern to that of the belt. Reverse of the belt in Luftwaffe grey wool, with leather tongue on the left side of the belt; with matching silvered receiving clip on the left end; the belt is measuring approximately 115 cm in length. Buckle is constructed of silvered aluminum, 46mm, with second pattern insignia, silvered star burst with enameled RLB and swastika; unmarked buckle, with over 95% of silver finish remaining; in extremely fine condition. Illustrated on pages 363 and 641 of Angolia’s book. Scarce brocade best and buckle.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
