(Reichsluftschutzbund = RLB): Silvered magnetic steel buckle with a silvered bronze and black enamelled insignia on the right end, maker marked with the Hermann Aurich, Dresden stylized cypher on the reverse, illustrating the 4th pattern Reichsluftschutzbund insignia, with the left-facing spread-winged eagle clenching the RLB starburst bearing a swastika insignia in its talons, the buckle measuring 46.7 mm. Brocade dress belt with two wide rows of fine aluminum wire flanking a wide row of black embroidery in the centre on the upper, interlaced with white threading, grayish blue cotton sides and underside, silvered magnetic steel receiving clip on the left end, thick smooth finished dark gray leather tab stitched in place on the underside on the left end, the tab with thirteen rows of two holes each for length adjustment, emboss stamped "95" on the tip of the tab, two sliders on the belt with matching uppers, one with a grayish blue cotton tab attached, the belt measuring 45 mm x 1,070 mm. Scattered silvering wear on the steel parts, slight fraying in the aluminum wire along the edges. Extremely fine. This particular belt with buckle is illustrated in black and white on page 365 and in colour on page 641 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
