Bulgaria, Kingdom. An Army Officer's Parade Belt
This parade belt features a belt buckle in bronze gilt on the right end, the buckle bearing the crowned Bulgarian lion framed within a wreath of laurel leaves, with a securing tab on the reverse, the belt fed through the loop on its right side, the buckle measuring 62.2 mm (w) x 62.5 mm (h). Both ends of the waist belt incorporate a hook which is designed to attach to silvered eyelets on the underside for length adjustment, eight placed at the left end and one placed at the right end, the belt measuring 50 mm in width x 1,000 mm in length, with an additional 190 mm in length folded around to the reverse at both ends, along with two sliders with matching uppers and undersides, the left end with a receiving loop in bronze gilt. Light soiling evident on the white cotton underside, near extremely fine.
