Group consisting of full size and miniature awards, and documents: Order of Franz Joseph, Knight, bronze gilt and enamels, on "War" ribbon, typical late War issue, marked on the ring with "Star" mark, extremely fine; Signum Laudis medals, silver and bronze grades, both on "War" ribbons; 1908 Jubilee medal and cross; Hungarian 1914-18 War Medal; German Honor Cross with Swords, 1914-18. Medals in extremely fine to mint condition. Miniature medals: Order of Franz Joseph, bronze gilt and enamels, Signum Laudis medals, silver and bronze grades, 1908 Jubilee medal and cross. All extremely fine, on silver gilt chain, marked "800" and maker marked, all contained within "Rothe & Neffe" case of issue. Attractive set of miniatures. A replacement award document presented to Rittmeister (Commissioned Cavalry Officer) Josef Pomberger for an Order of Franz Joseph, Knight’s Class, awarded on August 24th, 1918 for exemplary service in the field on August 11th, 1918. The original document was replaced by this, dated March 26th, 1929. The document consists of multiple pages, with the remaining pages with the official statutes of the Franz-Joseph Order, measuring 336 mm x 209 mm. An application form for a Hungarian 1914/18 War Medal, dated in Vienna in 1939, for Rittmeister Josef Pomberger, who resided in the 7th district in Vienna, on Hauptstraße 1, on the first floor, on door 11. It lists his war service during the first war, which unfortunately is illegible due to poor penmanship. The reverse with the official statutes of the The document measures 299 mm x 227mm. An application form for an Honour Cross of the Word War 1914/18. This document is in the name of Rittmeister Josef Pomberger. The obverse states basic information, such as his address. It also states his military background, most of which is unfortunately illegible. The reverse features his resume, most of which is also illegible. However, it is clear that Pomberger was a volunteer and served on the eastern front. The document measures 294 mm x 210 mm.
