What's a max bid?

A Rarely Awarded Military Merit Cross 2nd Class with War Decoration, 1st Type (1914-1916) - Finely produced in silver and enamels, "VER DIENST" lettering in Gold, assay marked Diana Head 2A and "JS" (Johan Soural) on the integral suspension, marked "R. MARSCHALL" on the edge of the bottom arm, 40.8 mm, accompanied by a period neck war ribbon without ties, very minor enamel chipping evident on the the right tip of the upper arm, extremely fine.
