This is a complete group to Knight's Cross winner Unteroffizier Hans-Joachim von Wangelin purchased from family; Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, posthumously awarded, (magnetic, marked "800" silver, maker marked "65" on loop, 48.6 mm, original independent ribbon, mint condition. Textbook example K&Q Cross. In case of issue, also mint.) ; German Cross in Gold (marked "L52", Zimmermann, weighing 67 grams, 63 mm); Iron Cross First Class (magnetic, unmarked, 44 mm, in case of issue); Group of Three: Iron Cross Second Class (non-magnetic, 44 mm); Wehrmacht Long Service Badge 4th Class, 4 Years Loyal Service (with ribbon eagle, 30 mm); and October 1, 1938 Commemorative Medal, 1 Bar - Prague (32 mm), on suspension with swing bar pinback and accompanied by two ribbon bars; Pilot's Badge (Very early, thin version, maker marked C.E. JUNKER BERLIN SW, weighing 31 grams, replacement clasp, 53.3 mm x 65.6 mm); Bomber Clasp, Gold Grade (Tombac, magnetic pin, unmarked, 25.5 mm x 75.8 mm, in case of issue marked "Frontflugspange fur Kampfflieger filber". Both are Mint). Accompanied by a DLV Collar Tab; a 145 mm x 205 mm stamped certificate dated November 14, 1938 (14.11.38); two 170 mm x 230 mm color photographs, stamped and dated November 6, 1942 (6.11.42) on their reverses; and one 240 mm x 395 mm black and white framed photograph of Wangelin in uniform.(GRAKC4167)
