A small medalbar, swingmounted with a horizontal pin on the reverse, presenting:
A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, rim impressed 3040119 PTE. G.H. ARNOLDI. 4-CAN.INF., light wear and contact marks to edges, very fine.
A British War Medal, in silver, rim impressed 3040119 PTE. G.H. ARNOLDI. 4-CAN.INF., light wear and contact marks to edges, very fine.
An Efficiency Medal, in silver, with CANADA scroll, rim impressed CPL. G.A. ARNOLDI RCIC, replacement ribbon, light wear, very fine.
Footnote: Gerald Herries Arnoldi was born in Liverpool, England in July, 1877. He was a single book-keeper, living in Toronto, when he enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion, on June 25, 1918.
He proceeded to England in August 1918 via the SS Corsican, and served with the 4th battalion in France as of November 6, 1918. He was demobilized in May 1919.
