In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Kriegsmarine dunkelblaue Paradejacke). A well-preserved Kriegsmarine parade tunic, constructed of dark navy blue wool. It features a turned-down collar which transitions into double breast lapels. Stitched onto the upper left arm is an insignia consisting of a dark navy blue wool base bearing a gilded bronze Motor Transport Specialist device, measuring 60 mm (w) x 80 mm (h) overall. The cuff of each sleeve features five fire gilded buttons bearing raised fouled anchors, and is circumscribed by a gold bullion wire tresse. Stitched onto the upper right breast is an insignia consisting of a dark navy blue wool base bearing a gold bullion wire Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 95 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) overall. Nine fire gilded buttons flank each breast flap, each meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the opposite side. A gilded chain culminating at each end in identical buttons is fastened through the top buttonholes. Notably, two additional buttons are stitched in place at the upper breasts and accommodate a twisted and rolled cord which retains an original and functional Kriegsmarine-issue whistle. Pinned to the left breast is a ribbon bar featuring three decorations, including a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, an Eastern Front Medal, and a Sudetenland Medal, measuring 45 mm in width. An array of threaded loops situated below the bar accommodates additional awards. The interior is fully encompassed by a black rayon liner which transitions into a pinstripe design through the arms. Stitched onto the collar is a label bearing a machine-embroidered red owner’s surname of “WINKLER”, topped by a hand-embroidered master roll number of “002001A/34”. The tunic measures approximately 42 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 58 cm, and an overall body length of 58 cm. Demonstrating only minor material fatigue, this superb example remains in an extremely fine condition.
