A group of three Belgian medals and orders, including an Order of Leopold II in Gold, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ribbed arms, with ribbed fans and laurel branches through the quadrants of the cross, the obverse with a central medallion bearing a lion rampant circumscribed by an inscription of “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE” (“UNITY IS STRENGTH”), the reverse with a central medallion bearing the monogram of Leopold II, unmarked, measuring 35.57 mm (w) x 42.37, weighing 19.6 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a Commemorative Medal of the Reign of King Leopold II, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Cross Pattée with a central leftward-facing profile of Leopold II and laurel and oak branches through the quadrants, the reverse with a Cross Pattée with central dates “1865-1905” with laurel and oak branches through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 31.32 mm (w) x 39.89 mm (h), weighing 14.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Second War Belgian Red Cross Badge, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath topped by a royal crown, with a central Geneva Cross bearing dates “1940-1945”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 34.14 mm (w) x 61.17 mm (h), weighing 18.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
