(Main Branch Manager): Includes two pieces: service shirt and breeches. The service shirt is fabricated from greenish-brown cotton, the collar trimmed in a black embroidered cord, with both sides of the collar adorned with NSDAP 3rd Regulation collar tabs used between 1936 and 1939, the collar tabs incorporating two white embroidered strips in a L-shape sewn in place on the brown corduroy upper, each strip with a repeating pattern of swastikas, indicating the rank of HauptStellenleiter (Main Branch Manager), the edges of the collar tabs also trimmed in black embroidered cord, the black indicating a Kreis Level Administrative Position member. There is an NSDAP armband sewn place on the left sleeve, the armband with a white cotton circular patch bearing a black screen-printed swastika sewn in place on a red cotton field, the red cotton field stamped in black ink with a spread-winged eagle clenching a wreathed swastika in its talons, inscribed "Nationalfez-Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" above, along with other inscriptions below that have become illegible. There are two pockets on the front, one on each breast, each designed with a decorative pleat, each pocket with a silvered magnetic metal button that is maker marked "UE 76/6" and marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia on the reverse, and completed with a fold over flap with reinforced button hole. All nine of the silvered magnetic metal buttons on the shirt illustrate a spread-winged eagle clenching a wreathed swastika in its talons and a pebbled background. The front has a vertical row of three silvered magnetic metal buttons sewn in place on the right side, the top button marked "M 5 76/6" and marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia on the reverse, the middle button maker marked "M5/8", marked with a stylized "A" (F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid) and marked "EXTRA FEIN" on the reverse, the bottom button maker marked "M5/75/3" and marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia on the reverse. There is a brown plastic button sewn in place at the neckline above the three silvered magnetic buttons and a reinforced button hole added below the last of the these buttons at the waist. Each of the aforementioned items face five reinforced button holes on the left side. There are four belt loops at the waist, two at the front and two at the back. The sleeves have French cuffs, each of which are held in place via two silvered magnetic metal buttons that are placed back-to-back and joined by a loop, all four buttons maker marked "UE 76/6" and marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia on the reverse. Inside, there is an 85 mm wide band placed at the waist, with six short and wide elastics sewn in place upon it, placed in three pairs along the waistband, one pair on either side at the front and one pair at the back, along with a large partial RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia stamped in white ink beside the seam leading into the left armpit. Just inside the opening on the right side is a manufacturer's label printed in light brown ink on white cloth and sewn in place on the waistband, the label marked with a large RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia at the far right, marked "Diensthemd" (Service Shirt), "Hersteller" (Manufacturer) and maker coded "B 18/600", marked Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP, marked with a "B" and numbered "No 372291", the label penetrated by the bottom reinforced button hole that appears on the front and obscures a word below "Diensthemd". The collar is stamped in black ink "46 and "36" and is complemented by a tie fabricated from a greenish-brow rayon, the bottom edge of which is trimmed in brown, the rear seam of the tie with a manufacturer's label printed in brown ink on white cloth and sewn in place, the label marked with a large RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia, marked "mit Kennkante f. Politische Leiter u. DAF. / Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP.", marked with a "B" and numbered "No 39730". The service shirt measures 400 across the shoulders x 460 mm in length and exhibits light soiling on the white cotton circular patch on the armband. The breeches are fabricated from a brown cotton twill and come with a drop down panel on the front that extends down to the hips, with white cotton-lined angled entry pockets on either side of the panel, the panel with a series of four reinforced button holes on both sides and are finished with four brown plastic buttons that are sewn in place to the body of the breeches. There are five belt loops sewn in place at the waistline, two on the front and three on the back. Each of the legs have elongated pentagon-shaped reinforcing patches sewn in place on the inside leg and come with button down cuffs, each of the cuffs designed with six reinforced button holes facing brown plastic buttons, with five buttons on each leg, the sixth button having been lost to time. The inside is lined with a 60 mm wide band of white cotton at the waistline. The breeches measure 310 mm in width x 780 mm in length, exhibiting light soiling on the exterior and on the white cotton waistline band. The stitching remains intact on both the shirt and the breeches. Very fine.
