A Extensive Group of Documents to Herbert Langner; 7 pieces; Long Service Medal document, Marksmanship award letter, Parachutist Badge document, Field Sergeant Promotion Document, Master Sergeant Promotion document, Iron Cross Document, Marksmanship award Document On the second of October, 1936, he received a Long Service Award IV. Class for six years of service in the Wehrmacht, holding the rank of Senior Lance-Corporal of Luftwaffe district IV based in Munster. In 1938 with the rank of sergeant, he received special recognition from the commanding general of Luftwaffe group IV for excellent marksmanship. November 1st, 1941 he received the Wehrmacht Award for Marksmanship I. Class. He held the rank of Staff Sergeant at that time. June 28th 1943 he earned the Parachutist Badge. 30th July 1943, while serving as a special paratrooper, he was promoted to the rank of Senior Sergeant in the field. November 1st 1943 he would be promoted again to the rank of Master Sergeant. August 8th 1944, as Master Sergeant of the 8th Regiment Paratroopers, he received the Iron Cross II. Class.
