What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Friedrich-Kreuz). Instituted 12 December 1914 by Duke Friedrich II. (1914-1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Cross Patté, the obverse featuring a central raised monogram of Duke Friedrich II set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the six o’clock arm bearing an institution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm bearing a royal crown the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.88 mm(w) x 37.96 mm (h), weighing 15.0 grams, a scarce pinback version in extremely fine condition.
