Bavaria; Set of insignia First Class, a special grade awarded to civilians and civil personnel, with a specific ribbon sash (awarded only during1914-1915); Cross with Swords, in silver gilt and enamels, Swords in Gold, inside of the ring marked "900", 67mm x 73mm, no chipping to enamels, extremely fine condition; Star with Swords, in silver, silver-gilt and enamels, 72mm x 73mm, reverse cartouche marked by official maker "Gebrüder Hemmerle München", no chipping to enamels, extremely fine condition; with original sash, 100mm wide.

Footnote: This type f the first class set with this specific ribbon sash was awarded to civilians who contributed to the War effort; only 4 such sets were awarded, thus extremely rare.
