What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

May 1940); award document for Iron Cross 2nd. class, as Hauptman in 3./Kampfgeschwader 2, dated (14. May 1940); award document for pilot’s badge, dated 18. October 1937; award document for Commemorative medal 1. October 1938 (1. September 1939); award document for Long Service award IV. Class (22. January 1938); a promotion document to the rank of Hauptmann, with Goering’s facsimile signature; letter of congratulations from Kesselring, with original signature; five more miscellaneous documents;  and four photos of him with Goering. Document in generally extremely fine condition, most of the not folded.
