What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

An American WWI Purple Heart Group - Purple Heart (bronze gilt and enamels, numbered "19582" on the edge, engraved "GEORGE H. LEVESQUE" on the reverse, 34.7 mm x 43.3 mm); WWI Victory Medal, 2 Clasps - DEFENSIVE SECTOR, MEUSE-ARGONNE (bronze gilt, 36.2 mm); New Hampshire's Award Cross for Service in the World War (bronze, 46.3 mm x 50.4 mm); and France: Verdun Medal, Type II (bronze, engraver marked "VERNIER", 27.5 mm). Original ribbons, brooch pinbacks on the PH and VM, NHACSWW with bronze pinback hanger, Verdun Medal with dual French-style pinbacks, gilt wear on the VM, oxidation evident on the obverse of the NHACSWW, better than very fine. Accompanied by a Photograph of Levesque in Uniform with Another Soldier (black and white, 70 mm x 89 mm, cracked with pinholes, glue residue on the reverse from previous mounting), a Piece of Shrapnel (iron, magnetic, 8 mm x 13 mm x 15 mm) and a 48 Star American Flag (two-color screen printing on white cotton, 147 mm x 207 mm).
