Instituted in 1966. Two-piece construction, silver gilt centrepiece disk bearing crossed spears fronted by a large pole, within a dual-ringed circle, mounted to a sixteen-pointed star base, marked "C.B.S." (Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear) on the reverse, measuring 90.7 mm (w) x 90.7 mm (h), vertical pinback, scattered gilt wear on the centrepiece disk, contact marks, better than very fine.
