A WWI Militärpaß to the 107th Reserve Infantry Regiment; Captured

A First War Militärpaß to the 107th Reserve Infantry Regiment; Captured - Ulan Otto Goertz: 20 pages, in extremely fine condition, in original sleeve.   Ernst Otto Goertz was a member of the 2nd Reserve Squadron of the 18th Royal Saxon Ulan Regiment based in Leipzig. He was born on April 30th, 1880 in the city of Mühlhausen to Ernst and Magdalene. Before joining the Army he worked as a Lawyer. He volunteered for service on October 1st, 1914, and was posted to his cavalry unit. In 1915 he was transferred to the 107th Reserve Infantry Regiment and deployed on the Western Front. In 1916 he was taken prisoner. He was released on September 19th, 1919 and sent back to Leipzig.
