A Presentation Miniature Group of William George Barker; Victoria Cross (tailor's copy, bronze, 16.8 mm); Period miniatures of high quality; Distinguished Service Order with bars (silver and enamels, 19.5 mm); Military Cross, GRV with two bars (silver, 20.5 mm); 1914-15 Star (bronze, 21 mm x 23.5 mm); British War Medal (silver, 18 mm); Victory Medal with MID Oak Leaf (bronze, 17.5 mm); Italy: Medal for Military Valour (silver, 18 mm); France: War Cross 1914-1918 with bronze star (bronze, 17.3 mm); and Italy: Medal for Military Valour (silver, 17.8 mm). Court-mounted, swing bar pinback missing, glue residue on the reverse from previous board mounting, extremely fine. Accompanied by a Reproduction Photograph of Barker in Uniform (black and white, mounted, 77 mm x 124 mm).  Footnote: William George "Billy" Barker VC, DSO & Bar, MC & Two Bars (November 3, 1894 – March 12, 1930) was a Canadian First World War fighter ace and Victoria Cross recipient. He is the most decorated serviceman in the history of Canada, and indeed in the history of the British Empire and Commonwealth of Nations. (C:14)
