A Memorial Plaque to Konrad Herbst; Sea Rescue Service - All mounted/secured (post-War) on a red fabric and framed, including: Iron Cross 2nd. Class, magnetic, marked 27 on ring; Naval Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge, early fine quality badge in tombac, unmarked, but typical C.E. Juncker manufacture, riveted globe, worn condition, swastika cut off; Naval Front Clasp, particularly fine example, hand made, in copper, 90x19mm, retaining pin on reverse somewhat crudely soldered, as it should be, in very fine condition; two trade cloth patches; Sea Battle Badge (1957 version), in gilded and silvered tombac, unmarked, near mint condition and of very fine quality manufacture; small metal ship, unofficial, 44mm in length. Reverse of the frame contain a slip, with typed information of Herbsts service, titled: My serving time with the sea emergency service of the air force: Employee of the Reich,1. May-December 1941;Flying school (sea) in West Dievennow auf Wollin (flying certificate (sea)); 2. December 1941-August 1942; Guard on Flugsicherungsschiff ; Bernard von Tschirschky (890ts); Deployment area - canal coast, Atlantic; 2. Service as a Soldier: 1 October 1942- the end of war: Radio Operator for various flying units and on the ships; mostly FL-B 518; Deployment area: canal coast, Kurland. Unusual grouping, in generally very fine condition.
