Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A German Army Officer's Tunic with Belt & Awards

The tunic is produced in a quality, soft to the touch field grey/green wool. There is minor wear and discolouration with a field repair under the left breast pocket. With a few very small holes that are not much of a distraction. There are four pockets with scalloped flaps and a button closure. All buttons are pebbled silver finished aluminum. There are sew-in shoulder boards with a white underlay that serves as another row of piping. These exhibit some wear yet are solid. The collar tabs have been hand applied to the collar. These have cotton columns over green. The hand applied Army breast eagle is a beautiful, bullion example with bright silver highlights over dark green wool. The left breast pocket has two loops for the EK1, which is unmarked and very fine. There is a single loop for the ribbon bar just above. The interior is fully lined in green rayon that exhibits soiling from period use and wear. Both interior belt, and hanger for dagger are present. The tunic is approximately a size 34 and has a maker's label Meyer - Oldenburg. Accompanied by correct belt, Army Officers Parade Belt and Buckle, buckle in aluminum, very fine quality, extremely fine condition.
