A First War Pair to the Canadian Siberian Expeditionary Force - British War Medal (2776059 SJT. W.J. MC.  KAY. C.S.E.F.), Victory Medal (2776059 SJT. W.J. MC.  KAY. C.S.E.F.), naming is impressed, mounted as worn, toned, extremely fine. Footnote: Walter James McKay was wborn in London, England in 1892 and worked as a Clerk in Winnipeg prior to enlisting in the CEF and serving with the Canadian Ordnance Corps. He then enlisted once again in September 1918 and sailed aboard the SS Empress of Japan seeing service in Siberia before returning to Canada on the SS Monteagle; arriving 20/06/19.
