A First War Pair to the 10th Canadian Infantry - 1914-15 Star (42209 A. BMBR. R.G. STAFFORD. 10/CAN.INF.) and Victory Medal 42209 SJT. R.G. STAFFORD. C.F.A.). Naming is officially impressed. On original ribbons, crisp detail, nice patinas. Accompanied by a C.E.F. For Service At The Front pin, brass and enamels, 22mm, numbered 355095 on reverse; a Canadians in England Baseball medal, bronze, 32 mm, unnamed. Very fine. Footnote: Reginald George Stafford was born in Buckinghamshire, England on June 2, 1891. He signed his Attestation Paper on September 25, 1914 at Valcartier, Quebec and stated his trade as Moulder. He had had six months previous military experience in the 19th Regiment.
