A First War Medal Trio 2nd Canadian Division Headquarters - 1914-15 Star (59222 Pte G.E. CUNNINGHAM. 2/CAN:DIV: H.Q.); British War Medal (5922 SJT. G.E. CUNNINGHAM. 2-CAN. DIV. H.Q.); and Victory Medal (5922 SJT. G.E. CUNNINGHAM. 2-CAN. DIV. H.Q.). Naming is officially impressed. Un-mounted, dual-toning on the Star, dark patina on the BWM, edge wear, contact marks and surface wear, near very fine. Footnote: George Edgar Cunningham was born on June 21, 1885 in Cobourg, Ontario. He signed his Attestation Paper as a Sergeant with the 2nd Division Headquarters Sub Staff, on November 5, 1914, in Kingston, Ontario, at the age of 29, naming his next-of-kin as his wife, Mrs. Kitty Cunningham of Kingston, stating that he had previous service with the 3rd Prince of Wales' Canadian Dragoons (1903-1907) and the 14th Field Battery (1907-1914), that he was Married and that his trade was that of Moulder.
