What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Fine Prussian Field Marshal's (Feldmarschall) Shoulder Board Set

Of extremely high quality and rare, each board consists of a single row of fine silvered bullion wire, interlaced with black threading, in a chevron formation, flanked by a row of fine gold-coloured bullion wire in a thatched pattern on either side, the bullion wrapped around yellow support cords, in an interlocking weave pattern, the neck end of each with a loop for placement upon a uniform button, large silvered metal crossed batons in the centre identifying the wearer as a Field Mashal, red wool sides and underside, 54.5 mm x 115.5 mm each, evidence of mothing in the red wool on one board, scattered interruption in the bullion wire on both, extremely fine.
