A Document Group to the 2nd Panzergrenadier Regiment

A Document Group to the 2nd Panzergrenadier Regiment;  Frohberg Documents: 1924 poolside photo, fine; 3 pieces of Technical Hochschule ID from 1927, ’28, ’29; Student Union of the Braunschweig Hochschule ID; International Driver’s License; 1st Type Arbeitsbuch; Travel Visa in German and Czech; Berlin Post Army Summons; DRL Booklet for the Sports Badge in Silver; Sonderausweis; Wehrmacht Driver’s License; Wound Badge Document. Frohberg was a student, professional, and Panzer Grenadier of the 413rd Battalion. He was born June 1, 1907 in Dresden. He attended technical college in Dresden and has three pieces of photo Id for the years ’27. ’28, and ’29. He has a Member’s Card of the student union of the Technical College Carolo-Wilhelmina Braunschweig. One very curious item is his International Driver’s License, the pages of which are written in a number of languages including: French, Italian, Russian, Greek, and Arabic. His Arbeitsbuch indicates that he spent some time working in Advertising, as well as with a Consumer Cooperative Society, and later with a chemicals firm. There is a 1938 ID for Travellers which was issued for a trip to Eichwald, Bohemia. A document from the Berlin Post was to inform him to come to the Military District Office and is dated June 6th, 1940. He was also awarded the DRL Sports Badge in Silver in 1940 after having completed all necessary challenges in the allotted time. The only indication of his military service is from a Wehrmacht Driver’s License and a Wound Badge Document, which places him with the 413rd Reserve Panzer Grenadier Training Battalion, from the 9th of January, 1945.
